Main advantages: Disc lasers are a combination of the advantages of solid-state lasers and semiconductor lasers. The disc-type design guarantees excellent beam quality. Using the semiconductor laser as the pump source unit ensures high photoelectric efficiency. The power of the disc laser is as high as 16,000 watts, and its great feature is that it can cut high-reflection materials such as thicker brass and aluminum plates.
Main market positioning: cutting below 25mm, especially high-quality cutting of medium and heavy plates, mainly for external processing, or enterprises that process more non-ferrous metals. The disadvantage is that the maintenance cost is high in the later period, the service and technology have not been opened and popularized, and the cost is higher than that of optical fiber. With the emergence of fiber lasers of 4000W and above, fiber laser cutting machines will eventually replace most of the market.
